I have two quotes to share this morning. The first one is from my childhood ..."Make new friends but keep the old ...one is silver and the other gold". This is something that I learned in Brownies and then Girl Scouts and has been something I adhere to as an adult. Friends add value to ones life. The other quote is a PSH original ..."The key to opportunities is to always try new doors ...yes that one ..and that one...you get the idea ... always try !" All the very best for everyone's day today !!

Thank you so much for your comments... I found two quotes to share this morning ... "There is a majesty in simplicity." by Alexander Pope. Alexander was getting at what many of us have heard in our life ... less is more. Another quote that seemed extra beautiful today is ... "Nature is painting for us, day after day, pictures of infinite beauty if only we have the eyes to see them." by John Ruskin. It is not just nature, it is in all of our surroundings that we need to be aware with our eyes open ... constantly seeing. This is what being a visionary is all about. All the best for everyone this lovely day !!!

Your comments here are profound and beautifully stated. Thank you for your encouragement and support. It's hard to envision an industry with this much potential, still in it's infancy... and that is both the good news and the bad. Those of us who are here have this opportunity to do this right. The MTA played an exceptional role in bringing together all of the reputable players, and there is no question that as the world continues to homogenize - outsourcing Medical and Surgical Procedures IS the future of medicine everywhere.
There are so many misconceptions however.
* Medical Tourism is not just for the rich and famous who can afford the best in the world..
* It's not for the poor or uninsured who need to save money by traveling elsewhere...
It Is a viable option that everyone needing a planned medical or surgical procedures should consider... but very few are aware.

Here are some ideas to consider “
1. WE NEED TO COLLECTIVELY FOCUS ON PUBLIC AWARENESS OF OUR PRODUCT
2. WE NEED TO MAKE THIS PRODUCT AVAILABLE BY DEVELOPING A CONVENIENT, EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT LOCAL DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL.
3. WE NEED COLLECTIVE LEADERSHIP IN PLACE THAT WILL FOCUS ON THESE ISSUES AND TAKE THESE IDEAS FROM CONCEPT TO PERFORMANCE.
... WE ARE THE INVESTORS AND entrepreneurs ENTREPRENEURS THAT ARE MAKING THIS HAPPEN - TO BECOME THE BENEFICIARIES, WE MUST TAKE ACTION !
..IF NOT US, WHO... IF NOT NOW, WHEN ???

Sharing a few quotes this morning on the importance of keeping things in perspective. Betsy Garmon shares "I've decided that the stuff falling through the cracks is confetti and I'm having a party!" William James shares "The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes." J. Andrew Helt adds in fun: "Sometimes life's Hell. But hey! Whatever gets the marshmallows toasty." David Ambrose adds: "If you have the will to win, you have achieved half your success; if you don't, you have achieved half your failure." Let's all aim towards success !!

This quote came to mind to share..by Mr. Edward C. Steadman ..."One must spend time in gathering knowledge to give it out richly." MTC has provided a way for all of us to gather and share knowledge in the area of medical tourism. I am personally applying the knowledge and aligning myself with groups such as the Travel Agency Licensing Program, etc... a wealth of opportunities are available for all of us as we share professionally. Thank you MTC ...the foundational support you provide enables all of us to connect in this industry !

Some quotes to share with everyone today ... By Mary Engelbreit: "If you don't like something change it; if you can't change it, change the way you think about it. " An unknown author shares ..."When some people mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold. They believe that when something's suffered damage and has a history it becomes more beautiful." Frank A. Clark expresses, "We find comfort among those who agree with us - growth among those who don't." My all-time favorite is from The Houghton Line in November 1965 .. "If you want to forget all your other troubles, wear too tight shoes. " That is so true ...and for carefree feelings just walk barefoot in the grass especially on a lovely March Spring Day ! May everyone enjoy their day !!!

"Imagination leads one in creative ideas brainstorming. As ideas are implemented and some fall on the floor remember the importance of ideas. Ideas unexpressed will never see the light of day ... so keep expressing and generating creative ideas !" A PSH Original from me to you ... in the area of brainstorming as we trailblaze this industry together !

This evening, I am sharing two quotes within a story from a 1947 book I cherish "Try Giving Yourself Away," by David Dunn. "...We are not all physicians, but many of us earn our living with some talent, skill or craft which we can share on a balanced getting-and-giving basis, charging the world a self-respecting price for our services, but giving ourselves freely "in kind" to worthy causes and deserving individuals who need our help. Emerson was referring to gifts "in kind" when he wrote: "...Therefore the poet brings his poem; the shepherd, his lamb; the farmer, corn; the miner, a gem; the sailor, coral and shells; the painter, his pictures; the girl, a handkerchief of her own sewing." After all, what gift could be so appropriate as a bit of one's own skill of hand or mind ? "You do not have to be rich to be generous," writes Corinne U. Wells. "If he has the spirit of true generosity, a pauper can give like a prince." Each of us withholds every day a score of little gifts "in kind" that could make our small world, and by multiplication the whole big world, a happier place." So may we all discover our "in kind" gifts and share in this world we live in.
