A major Earthquake hit Haiti last night around 5pm, devastating the western hemisphere’s poorest country. The earthquake has left the capital, Port-au-Prince, in ruins. Most of the city is either destroyed or damaged, including the hospitals. Doctors without Borders, who have an ongoing presence in Haiti, noted that all three of their centers are inoperable following the quake.
