What is your interest in medical tourism?
We at Vedic Routes assists in redefining lifestyles to include the well-known traditional Indian wellness regimes of Ayurveda, Yoga and Vedanta combined with best of International Wellness Experiences to bring about the union of mind, body and soul.
No holiday in India is complete without the touch of Ayurveda. ‘Ayurveda’ as its name indicates, is the scripture on long life or healthy living, and is inextricably linked to Indian spirituality and astrology in its core, authentic form. None can beat the traditional practitioners or the traditional treatment centres for the original ambience and authenticity. Of course those who insist on modern luxury, can choose from the multitude of quality and high-end spas and resorts in most of the well-known destinations.
An ayurvedic massage is the signature trademark of any holiday in Kerala. A massage is not so much about easing knotted muscles or tangled nerves as it is about the application of medicated oils to detoxify the body. Ayruveda regimens range from rejuvenating herbal baths, slimming programmes, and stress management to the more complex and time-consuming purification procedures. At each of these places you can undergo preliminary diagnostic examination by ayurveda doctors and then decide on an appropriate course of action. While a feel-good massage takes only a few hours, depending on your choice, a complete regimen would take anywhere between a week to a month.
Are you coming to the 5th Annual World Medical Tourism & Global Health Congress, October 24-26th, 2012, which will have up to 2,000 in attendees, up to 10,000 networking meetings, over 120 sponsors and exhibitors and up to 160 speakers in Ft. Lauderdale/ Miami, Florida, USA?

Kerala is one of the places I would love to visit in India. I have heard great things about its democracy and literacy. I did have a conversation with someone from there who does organ transplants and they mentioned Singapore as an end destination for that. It seems the India's rules are very restrictive here relative to the donor. Even the U.S.A. has less strict donor rules.
