First-Time Medical Tourist

What follows is a first-hand account of Seattle realtor Wendy Ceccherelli, a Traveling4Health member who took her first dental tourism trip with her son, Tony, this last summer to the dental tourism town of Los Algodones, Mexico, within walking distance across the border from Yuma, Arizona. Wendy was kind enough to keep notes of her overall experience and I pass them on to you verbatim: http://tinyurl.com/yl2cz4q.

Dental Tourism in Mexico: Report on dental town of Los Algodones

The appeal of Los Algodones is its friendly village ambience. Dental waiting rooms can be side-walk cafes; a fiesta-type atmosphere where you'll meet people from home; the US, Canada, Europe, etc. Traffic across the border from Yuma, Az to Los Algodonas is proof of the popularity of this little border dental town. I have personally seen over 1,000 people a day crossing the border for dental work, to visit the pharmacies, etc.

Not all the feedback is positive, however. So what makes one person's… Continue

I found some great quotes to share this beautiful March morning. Astrid Aluda shares "Dreams are free, so free your dreams." Thomas Edison shares "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work." Ralph Waldo shares "What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." So may we DREAM BIG, find wonderful OPPORTUNITIES, and SOAR WITHIN with foresight and inner strength. All the very best for you !
