Usually VC facilitators or Fund Syndicators looks for taking up projects which has the potential of creating good business and has the ability to achieve break even in a a stipulated period. They also look for how much money the entrepreneur can bring on the table , and internal rate of returns, Before approaching any VC or financial institution the entrepreneur must have a bankable document which clearly states the following things

- The USP for the project
- Statistical frame to support viability of the project
- Affecting factors and mitigations
- Financial projections
- Association with strengths and opportunities

The DSCR ratio gives an impression of the stability and paying back capacity. hence before finding a potential investor it should be taken into account that the entrepreneur has done good market survey and have prepared a good report and not too ambitious financial projection which might make the investors skeptic.
