Claire Murray - A Successful Re-Transplant

Claire Murray – Our transplant recipient, contacted us through her father, Michael Murray. Claire Murray is a 24-year-old mother of two who had only months to live if she does not have a liver transplant, who came to us at the right time of her life.

Although there were controversies surrounding her re-transplant issue, we decided to help her, after reviewing her medical records. Our medical team in Singapore, headed by Dr. Prema Raj, along with the assistance of Prof Koichi Tanaka, in Mount Elizabeth Hospital decided to proceed further, inspite of media hype. Then we went on a discussion with Michael, explaining all the facts, and finally the family was convinced.

There were two options in Singapore ,and Michael went very confident in choosing our team after two months of discussions regarding a life saving surgery, and today, they are the happiest family we have seen, who have offered tremendous support to Claire, and the donor – Caroline ( Claire’s Aunt ) being discharged after a week.
