What is the best way to enter the Medical Tourism industry?

Greetings,

I am interested in working for a Medical Facilitator. I am originally from Turkey, however I have been living in US for the past 16 years.
I have a degree in Nursing and 12 years experience in Marketing/Sales/Account Management. I will greatly appreciate if someone can guide me through appropriate channels.

Dear Aysel,
As you mentioned, you have Nursing degree along with 12 years working experience, I would suggest you to start your own unit and utilize your healthy experience. It could be little difficult in early stages but sure, it could be a better, flourishing, more profitable experience in your life.

I am sure for your new own office, you dont need enough money but you need to work with full determination and have to be focussed on your targets. With 12 years of experience, definitely you will have been strongly connected with some organisations (Hospitals,Clinics,Doctors etc) and you can work with them for their interest but ultimately you will work for your own interest.

I would suggest you to think on this option of life and make your own way . Sure its not difficult practically but difficult is to be focussed on targets, which is not problem for you because you have done your job and now time to eat fruit of hard work.

I would like introduce my company. E-tech is Health Care BPO and Finance And Accounting BPO service provide. We have many clients from USA and now we have started Medical tourism.

And one more thing we are looking for Business Partner from different countries so if you are interested in the same that would be grate for both of us. I would very much like to see if we can work together.

My experience is in Marketing with consumer products. I don't have any connections with the medical field.
I am not looking into starting my own company, my interest is to work for a company that offers medical facilitation services. I am seeking employment in the medical tourism industry.

Hi Aysel,
Its fine , its mean you are not interested in own business. Actually i thought, The Man/Woman who have been involved marketing field, no problem for them to make new relations with the parties, that is why i suggested that at preliminary stage it could be difficult but not impossible. Anyways , you know better your-self and hope will find your way very soon. Wish you very good luck in whole future life.

I've gone through your comments and getting more interested in establishing my own business in this industry. Right now, I work as head of life and medical insurance for an insurance company in UAE.
I am interested in establising a MT facilitator (outbound and inbound), I have connections with insurance companies, international TPAs and local authorities as well.

However, as yet I am exploring this field, I'd appreciate your advices regarding, what are the requirements (financial, manpower, agreements) in order to have a well structured MT facilitator. On other hand, being in this part of the world, what would be the expected outbound and inbound rate of patients, is it in 10s, 100s or 1000s a month or year.
