At this stage when we are not using technology or web to the fullest exchange this is certainly a good initiative to motivate and inspire to use 3rd generation tools to popularize business and achieve more . This needs diligence from both the award organiser to be able to reach maximum no of contestant and also educate them about basic things and at the same time from the participants to be fair and a healthy attitude to promote and be visible in fair ways . It becomes very important to create a sphere for healthy competition and clarity in the evaluation process. A little bit sorrow state of affair entrepreneurs are not ready to share their ideas in open source podium like this, in spite of continuous requests the participation of members has not risen beyond 15 % ( in terms of number of members) participating regularly, or at least once in a month. Evaluation criteria needs to be intensive initially and as and when the popularity grows exhaustive criteria can be brought in to it. we can discuss over it from time to time.

Here are further details to Kosansh.com Medical Tourism Web Marketing Awards. We are still working on the website to allow online nominations, etc and planning to launch the awards site to receive nominations by end February 2010. Here is what we have come up with as as as evaluation criteria is concerned
Effectiveness in meeting objectives of your campaigns
Positioning and Differentiation
Content quality, relevance and organization of information
Creativity and innovation in design, content and delivery
Design and production quality
Overall Website Navigability
Specific marks are assigned and we are in process of finalizing the Jury for the Awards.
Inputs are very welcome.
