While most medical tourism marketers understand the importance of online media, many are confused and overwhelmed. Search engine visibility is critical, but so is Twitter and Facebook. If you aren't a big brand, display advertising is an important channel for creating awareness and demand. Email is still highly underutilized by most, and mobile may be the next big thing.
