This is one of the most difficult questions was asked to me in a meet the press on live television- and I did not fall into a trap by answering thus-
The best center can be chosen by using the following yardsticks-
1. Is the doctor a plastic surgeon?
2. Is the doctor doing mostly hair transplant procedures.
3. Is the doctor ISHRS (
www.ishrs.org) certified?
4. Is the staff ISHRS certified?
5. Does the center offer all the procedures or does it only offer FUE to cut on costs?
6. Does the center allow visitors to witness a procedure in the operation theatre?
7. Does the center have full time staff as assistants or they are freelancers- this means the center does not do much HT work and is just fooling around with your trust.
8. Does the center have all life support systems in place.
9. Do you feel comfortable with the credentials of the doctor?
10. Above all, does the doctor have a large number of satisfied clients?
Once these answers are in your mind, go to
www.ahrs-india.org and select your doctor from the list on the "locate your doctor" page.
The founder members are the big daddies of hair transplant in India.
All the very best.
