If you are interested in presenting or attending the 2nd Annual Medical Tourism Research Conference which will be held in Washington DC on February the 23rd to 25th, 2011- the CMTR would like to invite you to register soon.

This year's conference will feature recent findings from the areas of health, wellness, dental, retirement, and medical tourism from some of the leading researchers across the globe. Featured speakers this year are I. Glenn Cohen from Harvard Law School (Keynote), Dr. Terry Stevens (Invited Expert on Wellness Tourism), Mr. Raul Rodriguez (the Chairman of the Board for the CMTR), and Dr. David G. Vequist IV (Founder and Director of the CMTR). Select meals and a cocktail reception are included with the registration price!

There is still time to submit an abstract to be peer-reviewed (minimum 3 reviewers) by researchers from great institutions from all over the world. The CFP final date for individual presentations is November 15th, 2010 (next Monday late evening)- only an abstract is required to be peer-reviewed. If participants would like to have the possibility of being included in an upcoming issue of the peer-reviewed Journal of Medical Tourism Research, then a full paper is expected by January 14th, 2011. Presenters will be notified of their status by December 15th, 2010 and at least one presenter is expected to register for the conference (see below) by December 30th, 2010. If you are interested in setting up a Panel discussion at the conference (minimum of 3 panelists)- then please e-mail Dr. Vequist (the conference chair) directly at vequist@uiwtx.edu by November 30th, 2010.
