Panama

Hospital Punta Pacifica is the first JHMI affiliation in Latin America, and is affiliated with Johns Hopkins Medicine International. Currently, two major hospitals in Panama are working toward their JCI accreditation

Panama City offers a wide-array of both private and public hospitals that are affiliated with top U.S. medical institutions such as the Cleveland Clinic, Miami Children’s Hospital, Johns Hopkins Medicine International, Tulane University and Baptist Health International Center of Miami

Through the Panamanian Authority of Tourism (ATP), the Panama is working to create a local medical cluster that will promote Panama’s health services internationally

Most international patients do not need a Visa to enter Panama, making the travel arrangements considerably more convenient.

Panama is not only the home port for the cruise ship industry, but it also home to the century-old Panama Canal
